Why we built this
Our mission
Make rooted, beautiful Islamic and Arabic education accessible to Muslim women and children in the West — taught one-on-one by trusted, English-speaking female scholars from the heartlands of the ummah.
Why women and kids only
Because Muslim women told us, over and over, that they wanted a learning environment where they didn't have to think about modesty, mixing, or being the slowest one in the room. We built that environment on purpose. There are excellent platforms for men. This isn't one of them, and that's the point.
Why teachers from the Muslim world
Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India are home to thousands of qualified, English-fluent female scholars whose work simply hasn't been visible to Muslim families in the West. We pay them fair, full-time wages in their local economies, and we connect them to learners who need exactly what they teach. The math works for everyone.
A note from the founder
When my wife wanted to learn Tajweed properly, the local options were a Saturday class run by a kind brother who spoke mostly Arabic to a room of fifty kids, and a $50/hour private tutor we couldn't afford weekly. Online, the women-led options were either group webinars or app-based memorization that didn't match how she actually learns. So we built the version we needed — daily, one-on-one, taught by a sister, at a price a working family can carry. If that sounds like your situation, we'd be honored to teach you.
